The role was had been open a long time in the market, and the client interviewed many candidates; directly or through other agencies.

Solution

Part of the challenge was team management experience was required, but the package only appealed to candidates between Assistant Manager to Manager level, and the function of CRM usually is one person in the team - rarely with team management.
Canderson found an ideal candidate with broad marketing experience instead of only CRM. In addition she has experience managing a top, luxury motor brand which mainly focus on the VIP client and exclusive client experience instead of some mass CRM marketing. Also, the candidate had experience on one of the Swire brands, so she knew the culture well.
